Bio - Carole Kaliher
Carole Kaliher, born in New Orleans, Louisiana and the fifth of six children,
always loved to read and write. Transplated to California in 1946,
she worked for Pacific Bell Telephone and married Jim Kaliher on December 26, 1959.
while rearing six sons, she attended college classes and currently enjoys her fourteen grandchildren.
After losing her husband to emphysema in 1997, she followed his advice to "Get back to your writing."
She's been published in local papers and magazines and facilitates a writing class in Sun City, California.
She's been writing avidly for ten years and was previously featured in OASIS journal 2008 and 2001. [OASIS Journal 2012 pg. 97]
