A gift giver's guide

Dear Gift giver,
Thanks in advance for even thinking about a Christmas gift for me!
Now that the preemptory thanks have been taken care of I will get down to the purpose of this begging list. These are things that I have found myself checking prices on and so are on my mind and by extension things that I am at least thinking about trying to acquire. Please soordinate your purchases through Shelly. (Like that is going to happen.)
I am trying to group them by category. The sequence of categories has no priority value. The sequence of items inside of a category has no priority value.
Please don’t think of this as a list that needs to be filled but rather a place to find some insight into a gift.

I already have what I really want, being home with my loving wife, Shelly.

Kitchen Gadgets:

Motorized Meat Slicer. (I know I had one once before but it is no longer around.) The one that I had before was marginally under powered. It needs to be able to slice thin enough to make lunch meats for Shelly's sandwiches. Would be nice if it had both a scalloped as well as a smooth blade. One is better for very thin slices than the other.

Stand Mixer. (Oh boy is this one that could open a can of worms. Even though it is not a can opener). Would be nice to allow attachments like the Kitchen Aid brand. The more powerful the motor the better.

Ice-Tea Spoons. We only have four(4) left.

Corning shallow Soup/Salad Plates We have six, would be nice to have a few more. We did get a slightly larger set of 4 but I could still use a few more of the original ones.

Tools:

ATV/TRUCK RAMP This is a combination product that can be used to drive up on for oil changes and as a set of ramps for loading things onto a trailer or into the van side door.

FORSTENER BIT SET Set contains bits from 1/4 inch through 2-1/8 inch.

Electric Hedge Trimmer My old one is too short, too underpowered, and currently not even here since Tony borrowed it and has not returned it yet. There is a very nice one at Lowes.
Typical of Black & Decker 24 inch 3.3 Amp High performance Hedge Trimmer. Max cut 3/4 inches.
7 1/2 inch worm drive circular saw. My old one was made by Skill but Harbor Freight sells on for $110.00 less than the Skill version and with my litited amount of use it would be a better value.

1-1/2 HP Valiable Speed Plunge Router. My old one was a Craftsman. Again, Harbor freight sells on that should be fine due to my limited duty cycle.

3" x 21" Industrial Variable Speed Belt Sander. My old one was a Craftsman 4 inch. Harbor Freight sells one that uses 3 inch belts that should be fine.

Variable Speed Jig Saw. My old one was a Craftsman. Harbor freight sells a simple one that should be fine.

8 Ton Long Ram Air/Hydraulic Jack. The cherry picker needs this as a repair part. Available at Harbor Freight.

Rotary Cut-Off Tool. Similar to the "Yellow Tool" I used to put the outlet next to the back garage door that I borrowed from Tim. Harbor Freight carries one that looks good.

12 inch Sliding Compound Miter Saw. DeWalt (Yellow Tool) makes a nice one but the one at Hargor freight is so much less expensive.

3-in-1 1" SDS Rotary Hammer. I have a very underpowered hammer drill at present. This would be a great addition, but only if it is on a good sale.

Miscellaneous:

BROTHER TZ LABEL TAPES These are for use in the P-Touch labeler. They come in a variety of widths and foreground/background colors. Black on white 1/4 inch is always popular. Also 24mm (almost 1 inch wide) Black on yellow for high visibility cation labels would be nice.

Paper Shredder Looking for a micro-cross-cut shredder. In this time of identity theft issues it seems like a great idea. And of course Shelly and I can share it!
