The layout of the OGEE at the top and bottom are marked and then cut on the bandsaw.
The knuckle joint in the center of the peice is chiseled out next.
Then the piece is ripped from the top to joint and from the bottom to joint.
After that, as if by magic, it simply unfolds.
This was Mark's first attempt at this sort of thing and he is looking forward to trying a second one to see how much he can improve on his technique.
This was a fun project. I spread it out over three days but it could be done in one now that I have a better idea of how
it all works.
